Just got my positive last week and honestly i have no idea what to eat when. Is there some week by week food plan ki this week eat this, next week that? Pls share if u followed something.
Honestly, there is no single rule for food because every week your body needs different things, especially if you have thyroid like I did. I had to get my blood checked every month and adjust my diet. Ask your gynac for a proper chart that suits your body specifically.
Pls be careful with those online week-by-week diet charts as some suggest lots of fruits and carbs which can spike sugar. I had gestational diabetes and had to cut down on heavy carbs and sweets completely. It's best to eat balanced meals with more protein and consult your doc.
I don't know much about specific medical charts, but personally, I just ate normal seasonal fruits, dal, and roti. In the first trimester I could barely eat due to nausea, but later my appetite got better and I just ate whatever felt good and light.
I was also very confused about this initially! In my hospital, the dietician gave me a customized booklet for every trimester which helped so much. Just ask your hospital staff or gynac during your next visit, they usually have great in-house nutritionists.
