Just entered my 7th month and everyone at home is giving different advice on what i should be eating now. Want to make sure baby is getting proper nutrition in these last months. What worked for you diet wise?
My mother made sure I had ragi, curd rice and lots of seasonal fruits in this stage. We believe in light home food at this time. But follow whatever diet your gynac suggests, every body is different.
You dont need fancy foods honestly, simple ghar ka khana with dal, roti, sabzi and a fruit is enough. I added soaked almonds and a glass of milk. Saves money and works just as well.
Just be a little careful with too many sweets and fruit juices in the last months, I had to watch my sugar closely. Whole fruits over juice, and more protein helped me. Do get your sugar checked if not done already.
Focus on iron and protein now, so dal, eggs, green veggies, paneer, and fruits. I also took my calcium and iron tablets that doctor gave. Keep meals small and frequent because the bump leaves less space for food.
