I am in 8th month and appetite is less because stomach feels full quickly. I want simple Indian meal ideas that don't make acidity worse. What did you eat in last trimester?
Beta bas achha ghar ka khana khao, dal roti sabzi, doodh, dahi, mausami fruit. Thoda thoda kar ke khao taaki gas na bane. Khoob paani piyo. Bahar ka heavy khana iss time avoid karo bas.
In the 8th month focus on protein, iron and calcium, so dal, eggs, paneer, milk, green veggies and fruits. Keep meals small and frequent coz the tummy gets squished now. I also drank plenty of water and had dry fruits as snacks.
I'd say balance is everything in these months. Plenty of protein and fiber, but watch the sugary and fried stuff. I had sugar issues so i ate small portions often and lots of veggies. Whatever you eat, fresh and home cooked is best now.
We stick to simple nourishing food, rice, dal, sambar, curd, fruits and ghee in moderation. My amma added more greens and ragi for iron. Keep it light coz heartburn is bad this month. Follow your doctor's diet if she gave one.
Along with good protein and iron rich food, i kept up light walking which my doc okayed and it helped digestion a lot. Eating heavy at one go was uncomfortable so small meals worked. Listen to your body in the 8th month.
