Just stepped into my 4th month and finally the nausea is settling, so i actually want to eat properly now. My MIL keeps giving her own list haha. What did you all add to ur diet around this time, anything that really helped?
By 4th month nausea usually settles so eat properly now. I had lots of rice, dal, curd, veggies and a fruit daily. My amma always gave me ragi and a glass of milk too. But follow ur doctor's diet for iron and calcium.
Focus on protein and iron, dals, eggs, paneer, green veggies, fruits. Just go easy on too many sweets and fried stuff. I had to watch sugar later, so balanced home food from start really helps.
My app showed baby grows a lot now so I added more protein and iron rich food, palak, beans, dates, eggs. Also took my supplements on time. You can roughly track and balance, dont overthink.
Beta ghar ka khana hi sabse achha hai. Roti, sabzi, dal, dahi, seasonal fruits, dry fruits thode se. Khaali pet mat raho. Doctor ne jo iron calcium ki goli di hai woh time se lena.
You dont need fancy expensive food honestly. Dal chawal, seasonal sabzi, banana, peanuts, milk, all enough. Whatever iron and calcium tablet doctor gave, that covers the rest.
I kept it simple in 4th month, normal home meals plus fruit, nuts and curd as snacks at work. Carry a small dabba so u dont skip eating in office. And drink enough water.
