39 weeks now and due date is so close, im honestly a little nervous. I want to eat things that keep my energy up for labour but not feel too heavy. What did you all eat in those final days?
Beta in the last days we gave light digestible food, soups, khichdi and plenty of water. Some elders give dates but only if the doctor agrees. Keep meals small and frequent so you feel comfortable.
Honestly I kept it simple home food and didnt spend on any fancy stuff. Stayed hydrated and energetic for delivery. Also packed my hospital bag and snacks that last week, practical things matter too.
In my last week I just ate light, balanced meals, lots of fruit, dal, curd rice and stayed really hydrated. My gynac said dont overeat heavy stuff, keep energy up for labour. Dates were something my doctor was okay with for me, but check yours.
