I keep waking up hungry in the middle of the night and end up eating biscuits which probably isnt great. Im in my second tri now. What do u all have at night that feels light but actually helps?
I followed the simple rule of light protein plus some carbs, like dal with rice or paneer with roti. Finished eating about 2 hours before sleeping to avoid reflux. The apps also remind you to not skip dinner which I needed.
Eat light at night yaar, roti sabzi or khichdi, nothing fried or too heavy. Big spicy dinners gave me terrible heartburn lying down. A glass of warm milk after worked nicely for me.
Keep dinner light and a little early, that really helped my acidity. I'd have soft idli or khichdi or dal rice, then warm milk before bed. My amma always said heavy late dinner is the enemy of good sleep in pregnancy.
