My morning sickness is at its worst the moment i wake up and the nausea hits before i even eat anything. Im 9 weeks. Looking for ideas on what to keep ready to eat first thing so my stomach isnt empty. What worked for you?
Never start your day fully empty, it triggers acidity and nausea. I kept it simple, soaked almonds, a date or two, or plain toast. Then proper breakfast after some time. Worked both times.
Just a small caution, I had sugar issues so I had to be careful what I ate empty stomach, no sweet fruit juices for me. My dietician suggested nuts and a bit of protein. So depends on your situation, maybe check with your doctor what suits you.
Oh this was my lifesaver, I kept some plain biscuits and soaked almonds right next to my bed. Eating something dry before even getting up really helped my morning nausea. Empty stomach used to make the vomiting so much worse.
At home my mother always gave me a few soaked badam and a glass of water first thing. Light and easy on the tummy. A banana or some khakhra also works well, nothing heavy early morning.
