What to eat to prevent constipation during pregnancy?
Yaar this constipation since im pregnant is the worst part honestly, so uncomfortable. Im in my second trimester and want to fix it through food rather than anything else. What did you all eat that actually helped? need real suggestions.
My app kept reminding me, fibre plus fluids. I added a bowl of fruit, some salad and switched to whole wheat. Prunes and soaked figs were lifesavers honestly. Also tracked my water intake, that alone made a big difference for me.
Fibre and water yaar, that's the whole game. I ate papaya (ripe), oats, lots of veggies and soaked raisins in the morning. And drink water all day. Iron tablets make it worse, so the food really matters. Walk a bit too, it helps things move.
Beta, soak few munakka (raisins) and figs at night and eat in the morning, works gently. Warm water on empty stomach also. Eat your dal, sabzi and a fruit daily. If it gets really bad though, tell your doctor, dont take any laxative on your own.
Quick stuff that worked for me, a fruit at breakfast, salad with lunch, and keeping a water bottle on my desk so I actually drink. Overnight soaked raisins took 2 secs to prep. Small habits, no big effort, and the constipation eased up.
