My MIL always advised me to drink a cup of warm milk with a pinch of cardamom at night. It really satisfies the hunger and doesn't feel heavy on the stomach either.
During my pregnancy, I was very careful about what I ate. For midnight hunger, I preferred apple slices or a few soaked walnuts because they are clean, healthy, and safe for the baby.
Oh, those midnight kitchen trips are so sweet to look back on! I used to have a glass of warm milk with some dry fruits, it was so comforting and helped me sleep better.
Haha, at 8 months pregnant, my baby kicks me awake at 3 AM demanding food! I just grab a banana or peanut butter on toast because I'm too tired to even stand in the kitchen.
Midnight hunger is so common! Try keeping some roasted makhana or a handful of almonds near your bed. But if you feel severe acidity or nausea along with hunger, do check with your doctor.
