Im in my last few weeks now and so much focus has been on the delivery, but nobody really tells you about after. Matlab the recovery, the body changes, the sleepless nights. First time mom here, can the experienced mommas share what to actually expect?
Pregnancy ke baad ghar pe sab badal jata hai, dear. Shuru mein thoda thakavat hogi aur baby ko sambhalne mein darr lagega, par dheere dheere sab seekh jaogi. Bas acche se khao, aaram karo aur apne bade-bujurgo ki madad lo.
Expect a total lifestyle flip, yaar! Honestly, the first few weeks are actually quite overwhelming with the feeding schedules and lack of sleep. But you will get into a routine sooner than you think, just take all the help you can get from family.
Expect lots of sleepless nights, diaper explosions, and wondering when you last took a shower! But honestly, you will also experience a kind of love you never knew existed. It's a beautiful, messy ride, so just brace yourself and enjoy!
My doctor told me to expect a lot of hormonal fluctuations post-delivery, which can cause baby blues or mood swings. She also advised focusing on pelvic floor recovery and eating a nutrient-rich diet to heal. Don't worry, your body goes through a lot, so give it at least 6 weeks to heal properly.
As someone currently in my 3rd trimester, I am expecting a baby, massive backaches, and hopefully my pre-pregnancy jeans to fit again someday! Jokes aside, everyone tells me to sleep as much as I can now because sleep will become a luxury soon.
