My 4th month appointment is coming and I dont know what all doctor will check. Last visit was quick and I forgot many questions. What usually happens at this checkup?
At my 4 month visit they checked my weight, BP, listened to baby's heartbeat and asked about my symptoms. My doctor also discussed the anomaly scan that happens around this time and some blood tests. Carry your previous reports so she can compare.
Usual stuff, weight, BP, heartbeat, belly measurement and reviewing your tests. Around this time they line up the detailed scan too. Write down any doubts and ask her on the spot, dont save them for google.
I am almost at my 4 month visit and a bit nervous, did anyone else feel anxious before these? From this thread it sounds routine which is calming. I will keep my reports ready and a list of doubts. Thanks for the reassurance.
Mine was fairly fast, maybe 20 mins. They did the routine checks and gave the scan and test dates. I kept a small note on my phone of questions so I didnt forget anything while sitting there. Carry your file and any reports.
I felt so emotional hearing the heartbeat at my 4 month check, it became real for me. They weighed me, checked BP and asked tons of questions. Pretty quick and calm visit honestly, nothing scary.
