First time pregnant and im barely 5 weeks, everything feels so new and a little scary. I just want to know what all changes are normal so i dont panic at every little thing. Tell me what u experienced in the beginning?
Early days you'll mostly feel tired and a bit nauseous, it's your body adjusting. Take it slow, dont overdo work, drink water. And please go for your first checkup soon to be safe.
Mixed feelings is what to expect honestly, excitement and tiredness together. Rest, eat well and stay positive. Your body is doing something beautiful, be kind to it.
Im in week 8 right now and the smell sensitivity is wild, I cant stand the kitchen smells anymore. Is that happening to you too? The tiredness is so real.
I felt so tired in the first weeks, like I could sleep all day. Nausea, sore breasts, going to bathroom constantly. It was overwhelming but knowing it's all normal made me feel better.
Expect tiredness, nausea, food aversions, frequent peeing and mood swings. Everyone is different, some sail through, some struggle. Eat small meals, rest, take your folic acid and book your first gynac visit.
For me the nausea hit hard around week 6 and lasted till the second trimester. Keep some biscuits by your bed, eat before getting up, it helped. If you cant keep water down at all, see your doctor.
