Just entered my 8th month and suddenly everything feels so real. Want to know what changes to expect now, both with baby and my body, so I can be a bit prepared. ftm here so pls share whatever you can.
This month do keep a sharp eye on swelling, headache or sudden weight gain, my BP shot up around then so they monitored me closely. If u feel less baby movement or any leaking, call ur gynac right away, dont wait.
Oh the 8th month, get ready to pee every 20 mins and forget what your feet look like haha. Baby kicks get strong and sleep becomes a luxury. Im in it right now and trust me, naps are your best friend yaar.
Almost there beta, just stay calm and rest as much as you can. Eat well, walk a little if doctor allows, and keep your mind peaceful. Everything is preparing for the big day, take good care of yourself.
If youre working, this is when you plan your leave and handover seriously, the tiredness is real. I kept a small bag in office just in case. Sit with feet up whenever you can, the swelling is no joke.
Good time to sort out the hospital paperwork and confirm the delivery package cost so theres no last min surprise. Keep your reports and ID in one folder. The growth scan usually happens around now too, factor that in.
By now expect more pressure on your bladder, swelling in feet, and lots of movement. This is the time to pack your hospital bag and finalise things. Keep going for your checkups, they become more frequent now.
My doctor said 8th month is when baby gains weight fast and may start turning head down. She told me to watch baby movements daily and report if they reduce. Also start noting any tightening sensations, could be practice contractions.
