What to expect in the third trimester of pregnancy?
Im entering my 28th week soon and a bit nervous about whats coming. mostly want to know how u all felt body wise in the last months, was it very tiring? pls share ur experience.
I overthought every twinge in my third trimester honestly. Swelling, heartburn, weird sleep, all turned out normal. But the one thing I will say is dont ignore reduced baby movement or any bleeding, always call the doctor for those instead of googling.
Currently living it and let me tell you, the bathroom becomes your best friend haha. Lots of back pain, swollen feet and zero comfortable sleeping position. Tiring but honestly the excitement of meeting baby keeps you going.
My doctor told me the third trimester is about monitoring closely, checkups become more regular to watch BP, baby growth and position. Common things are swelling, breathlessness, trouble sleeping and Braxton Hicks practice contractions. She told me to immediately call if I notice less baby movement, heavy bleeding or strong cramps.
Get ready to feel big and a bit uncomfortable yaar, but its the home stretch. Heartburn, peeing nonstop, baby doing somersaults. Dont stress too much, just rest, eat well and keep your hospital bag ready.
Realistically, start prepping your hospital bag and sorting leave around this time, energy drops a lot. Swelling and back pain are common so keep your feet up when you can. And keep your gynac numbers handy because checkups get frequent.
I just finished my third trimester. Expect more tiredness, heartburn, frequent peeing and baby kicks getting stronger. The visits to gynac become more frequent too, and they keep checking baby movement, so do report if movements reduce.
In my third trimester I had a lot of pelvic pressure and trouble moving around, totally normal. They also discussed delivery options with me around then. Just listen to your body, rest when you can, and keep talking to your doctor about any concern.
