Just found out im pregnant, around 5 weeks. Totally clueless about what to add in my diet now. Can u experienced mommies share what foods r good for baby and me both?
Eat a colorful plate! 🍎🥦 Eggs, milk, paneer, and dals are amazing for protein. I also made sure to have a handful of soaked almonds and walnuts daily. Keep snacking on fruits to keep your energy high! 😊
Eating fresh, satvik, and clean home-cooked food brings great positive energy to both you and the baby. Try to include fresh fruits, coconut water, and milk in your daily diet. Eat with a happy and peaceful mind, it makes a big difference.
During my pregnancy, I personally focused on simple, home-cooked meals like dal-chawal, rotis, lots of green veggies, and fresh fruits. I tried to avoid outside oily food as much as possible because of my acidity. Do what suits your body best!
My doctor emphasized a lot on a balanced diet rich in iron, calcium, and folic acid. So I made sure to eat spinach, pomegranates, ragi, and dairy products regularly. She also advised me to avoid raw eggs and unpasteurized cheese for safety.
Everyone will tell you to eat veggies and dry fruits, but honestly, just eat whatever you can keep down in the first trimester! If it's only noodles or bread toast, so be it. Once the nausea settles, then you can focus on the healthy protein and greens!
