What type of morning sickness during early pregnancy?
Just hit 6 weeks and the nausea is starting. Some days its only in the morning, some days bohot worse by evening. Is it different for everyone or is there a common type? Curious what u all felt.
I had severe nausea in my first trimester and my doctor at the hospital prescribed safe antiemetics. The nursing staff also gave me a great chart on what to eat. Definitely call your hospital's helpline if it gets too hard to manage.
Normal morning sickness is just mild nausea or vomiting once or twice a day. But if you can't even keep water down, please check with your gynac immediately. Severe vomiting can cause dehydration which isn't safe.
Morning sickness is a scam, it actually lasts all day and night! I spent my whole first trimester hugging the toilet bowl and smelling lemon like a crazy person. Hang in there, it gets better (and then the sleepless nights start, haha).
For me, morning sickness meant feeling nauseous during my morning commute. I started keeping dry biscuits on my bedside table and ate one before even sitting up. It kept my stomach settled enough to make it to office on time.
I am currently planning and always wonder how bad it really gets. Is it just nausea or do you actually throw up everything you eat? Hearing everyone's experience helps me prepare mentally!
In my first few weeks, I felt this constant wave of motion sickness even when just lying down. I felt so exhausted and emotional because I couldn't cook or eat anything. But it slowly faded away by week 14, so hang in there.
I am trying to conceive and a bit nervous about this part. My mother tells me some women don't get any morning sickness at all. I hope when my turn comes, it is gentle on me.
Having PCOS made my early pregnancy hormones feel like a roller coaster, so the nausea was quite bad. I mostly had intense food aversions and dizziness rather than actual vomiting. Keep sipping water and don't push yourself too hard.
