I keep hearing terms like ectopic, twin, high risk and all on this forum and im a first timer so half of it goes over my head. Just want to understand the different types in simple words.
Broadly there is the normal uterine pregnancy, multiple pregnancies like twins or more, and the abnormal ones like ectopic. The scans tell which type you have. Most people have a regular healthy one, so dont read too much into it.
There are a few types but the common one is a normal pregnancy inside the uterus. Your early scan will confirm everything is in the right place. Try not to worry, the doctor checks all this for you.
My doctor explained the main ones as intrauterine which is the normal type, and then ectopic where it implants outside the uterus. There are also single versus multiple like twins. She said most are normal intrauterine, so dont worry without reason.
