Im in first trimester and trying to eat more healthy sabzi but dont know which ones are best for this time. Some say avoid certain veggies too. Can u all tell me what to include daily?
I just had my baby last month! During my pregnancy, my doctor insisted on having a cup of cooked green veggies every day. Lauki (bottle gourd) and tinda really helped keep my digestion smooth.
Actually, green veggies are your best friend right now, yaar. Try to have palak, lauki, and carrots. Just make sure they are washed thoroughly and cooked well, no raw salads from outside!
Leafy greens and carrots are amazing. Since I had thyroid, I avoided raw cabbage and cauliflower as they can sometimes interfere, but cooked ones are fine. Do get your regular blood tests done to stay on track.
Since I had gestational diabetes, I had to be very careful. I focused a lot on leafy greens, methi, capsicum, and avoided too many high-carb root vegetables like potatoes. Keep your portions in check!
Eating veggies when you feel nauseous can be so hard, I completely understand the struggle. Just try to eat whatever you can manage, like soft boiled carrots or a simple potato-spinach curry. You are doing great!
