What week am i in my pregnancy?

Im so confused with the dates yaar. My last period was somewhere mid of last month but i dont remember exact date and my first scan is only next week. How do you all calculate this on ur own?

Doctor calculates from last menstrual period date. So if ur LMP was like 6 weeks back, ur roughly 6 weeks. The dating scan at clinic confirms it properly.

Count from last period start date. Or just ask at ur first scan, they tell exact.

Dont stress over exact number na. Note ur last period date and the doctor will tell u the week and due date at first visit. Thats the accurate one.

Easiest way is count from first day of ur last period, not from conception. There are free apps where u just put that date and it shows week instantly, I used one and it was super handy.

I was so confused with this too at start! My gynac told me my LMP date decides it and then the scan adjusted it by few days. Did anyone else get a different week after scan?
