What week does milk start leaking during pregnancy?
Im 28 weeks and noticed a tiny bit of leaking from one side today, kind of surprised me. Is this normal already or is it too early? Just wondering when it usually starts for everyone.
It varies a lot. I leaked from the third trimester with one baby and not at all with the other, both were fine. So dont judge anything by leaking. If you ever see blood in the discharge, mention it to your gynac.
For me a little colostrum started leaking around the third trimester, roughly week 30 ish. It's thick and yellowish, totally normal as the body preps. Breast pads helped a lot, dont worry if it doesnt happen for you, some dont leak at all.
