Haan yaar, 37 weeks complete hote hi baby full term ho jata hai. Uske baad doctors delivery choose kar sakte hain agar jarurat ho to. Toh bas 37 weeks tak thoda dhyan rakho, fir tension nahi.
I just delivered a few months ago and my water broke at exactly 38 weeks. My doctor said that was perfectly full term and safe. So yes, 37 completed weeks is generally what they look for.
According to my pregnancy tracker app, full term is considered from 37 weeks onwards. From 37 to 39 weeks is early term, and 39 weeks is officially full term. It's amazing how fast the weeks fly by!
I can only share what happened in my case, but my doctor told me we reached full term at 37 weeks. My delivery happened at 38 weeks and baby was totally healthy. Every pregnancy is unique though, so do discuss with your doctor.
In my house, my mother-in-law was counting days and said 9 months complete means safe. Actually, medically, after 37 weeks is considered full term. My doctor also told us the same when we went for our checkup.
When I was at my parents' house, my mom started keeping my hospital bag ready as soon as I hit 37 weeks. She always said that once you complete 37 weeks, the baby is ready to come anytime. It felt so comforting having her prepare everything.
It is such an emotional milestone when you cross that 37-week mark, honestly. You've carried your baby for so long and now they are fully formed. Just hold on a little longer, the beautiful reward is almost here.
