I just had mine at 6 weeand 5 days, they could see the sac and heartbeat. Bit early for some, my doc wanted to confirm. When did you find out you were pregnant?
Usually the first scan is around 6-8 weeks to confirm the pregnancy and heartbeat, sometimes a bit later. Your gynac decides based on your dates. Mine did it at 7 weeks both times.
My doctor did an early dating scan around 6-7 weeks, then the important NT scan around 11-13 weeks. So the very first one depends on the doctor, some wait a little longer if all seems fine.
My first scan was around 7 weeks and I felt so emotional seeing that tiny flicker of heartbeat. I still remember it. Your doctor will tell u the right time based on your last period date.
