Just curious about this since my whole family keeps guessing boy or girl already and im only in my 2nd month. At what stage does it actually get decided? Anyone know roughly when?
Actually the gender is decided right at conception itself, depends on the chromosome. My doc explained that the parts start forming around 6-7 weeks but you cant really see anything on scan that early. By around 18-20 week anomaly scan they can tell, but in India they wont disclose it.
It is fixed from day one yaar, nothing changes it later. Whatever you eat or do has no effect on gender, dont waste energy on those myths people tell you.
