Im around 6 weeks now and so curious about this. My scan is next week and i keep wondering if we will be able to hear or see the heartbeat already. Anyone know roughly when it actually begins?
My doc said heartbeat actually starts around 5-6 weeks but on scan it usually shows clearly by 6-7 weeks. Mine I heard around 7 weeks scan and I cried honestly. Dont panic if first scan is too early, they call you back.
Around 6 weeks heart starts beating, you hear it on scan by 6-8 weeks. Both my pregnancies same. Just go for your scheduled scan, no need to rush before that.
I felt so nervous at my first scan, they couldnt catch it at 6 weeks and I was scared. Next week it was there loud and clear. Sometimes its just too early, dont lose hope.
Mine was a bit late to detect and I worried a lot. Please dont compare dates from internet, only your gynac can confirm with proper scan. Every pregnancy timing varies a little.
