I am newly pregnant and the scan is still very early, so I keep wondering when baby actually starts growing. Right now it feels unreal because I dont feel anything. When did it start feeling real for you?
I used a tracker app and it was so cool to see week by week. Like by week 8 baby is the size of a raspberry, by 12 a lime. Growth starts immediately, the app made me feel connected even before the bump.
Baby starts growing pretty much from the start, right after conception. But u actually start feeling it around 18-20 weeks when movements come. Early on its all happening inside even if u dont feel much.
My gynac explained it nicely. The embryo forms in first few weeks, organs start developing by 5-6 weeks, and heartbeat usually shows on scan around 6-7 weeks. The visible bump comes later in second trimester.
I had the same doubt na, my belly didnt show till almost 4 months and i kept worrying. Doc told me growth is happening from week one, just not visible. Anyone else showed late too?
