When can early pregnancy scan be done?

Tested positive on home kit two days back, super excited. Im around 5 weeks i think. When is the right time to go for the first scan? dont want to go too early and not see anything

With our IVF the clinic scheduled an early scan around 6 weeks to check things were in the right place. The wait felt long but worth it to see that little flicker. Follow your doctor's timing, they plan it for a reason.

My gynac did my first scan around 6 to 7 weeks to confirm location and heartbeat. She said before that its often too early to see much. So she usually waits till then unless theres a specific reason.
