Since I had some early spotting, my doctor did an emergency scan at 6 weeks itself to make sure the placement was correct. If you have any pain or spotting, call your gynac immediately. Otherwise, 7-8 weeks is the standard time they suggest.
Usually they do it around 7-8 weeks to check the baby's position and heartbeat. Don't worry, just consult your doctor and they will tell you when to get it done.
