Im about 6 weeks and have my first scan coming up soon. Im so anxious to hear the heartbeat, dont know if its too early for it to show yet. Did u get to hear it at ur first scan?
My gynac told me the heartbeat usually becomes visible on ultrasound around 6 to 7 weeks. At 6 weeks mine wasn't clear yet so she called me back in a week and there it was. So don't panic if it's not seen on the very first early scan.
For me it was seen around 7 weeks on the sonography. Elders say to wait calmly and not rush the scans, and my doctor agreed timing varies a little. Trust ur doctor's schedule, they know when to check.
I'll never forget hearing it on the scan around 7 weeks, i actually cried in the room. My doctor said sometimes it shows around 6 weeks and sometimes a little later. That sound made everything feel so real.
