We are ttc and i tested literally 3 days after and obviously got one line. Now i feel silly. So how many days should i actually wait before the test means something?
My gynac told me the test catches the hormone properly only after a missed period, so usually around 12-14 days after. Testing too soon gives false negative as the hcg is still low. I tested early once and panicked for nothing.
I was so impatient and tested like 5 days after, came negative and I cried. Did anyone else also test too early? Better to wait till period is missed, learned it the hard way.
