When can i test for pregnancy after missed period?

Period is 2 days late now and im so tempted to test already. Dont want a false negative and get my hopes crushed na. How many days after missing should i actually wait to test?

My doctor said home tests are quite reliable from the day of missed period onwards. If u want certainty, a beta hCG blood test can even detect a bit earlier. For a home kit just wait till the missed day and use early morning sample.

Day 1 of missed period u can test, morning urine best. If unsure repeat after few days.

U can test right from the first day of missed period, but for best accuracy do it with the first morning urine. If negative and period still doesnt come, repeat after 3-4 days. Both times I got clear results that way.

I tested the very next morning after my period was late and it showed positive faint line first, then darker after 2 days. Use morning pee, the concentration is higher. Fingers crossed for u!
