When can i test for pregnancy before missed period?
Im so impatient yaar, period is still a week away but I really want to test early. Will it even show correctly this soon or should I just wait? dont want a false result. pls help.
Beta, try to wait until you actually miss your period date before testing. Testing too early can sometimes show nothing and make you sad. Just keep a calm mind and do the home test with your morning urine after your date passes.
The clinical staff at my hospital advised me to wait until at least 4-5 days before my missed period to use an early detection test, though waiting for the missed period is always best. They explained that testing too early can give false negatives because the hCG levels are too low. It's best to be patient to get an accurate result!
With twins, my hCG shot up so fast I probably could have tested early, but I still waited till my missed period! Testing early just means wasting money on multiple kits because of faint lines. Save yourself the confusion and just wait for the missed date, trust me!
I was so anxious and actually tested 3 days before my missed period and got a super faint line! It made me so nervous that I kept testing every day. Did anyone else test early and drive themselves crazy looking at faint lines?
I am also planning right now and the wait is so hard! Some early detection tests say they can tell you 6 days before your missed period, but I've read it's not always accurate. Are you using ovulation strips to track your dates closely?
With my PCOS, my periods were always late, so testing before my missed period was never accurate. If your cycle is irregular, testing early will only cause unnecessary stress. It's safer to wait at least a week after your expected date to get a reliable result.
