When can ovulation test detect pregnancy?

I have a few ovulation strips left from last month and im out of pregnancy kits right now. My period is 3 days late and i was wondering if these strips can show anything at all, or do they only catch ovulation? Bit confused honestly, anyone tried this?

Ovulation kit is not for pregnancy, it only tells your fertile days. For pregnancy you need a urine pregnancy kit. Dont mix the two yaar, I made same mistake with my first.

I track everything on an app and honestly the ovulation tests are meant for ttc timing only. If your period is late just grab a Prega News type kit, way more accurate for this.

Beta dont rely on ovulation kit for this. If you feel you might be pregnant, wait till your period is missed and then take a pregnancy test in the morning. Thats the clear way.

Better to use actual pregnancy strip, ovulation test will only confuse you.

They both detect LH and hCG which are kinda similar hormones, so sometimes an ovulation strip shows a line if you are pregnant. But its not reliable at all, please use proper pregnancy test for confirmation.
