Home test showed faint two lines and im so confused if its real or not. When can u actually be sure, is it after a blood test or scan? First pregnancy so all this is new for me.
I tested 3 days before period out of excitement and got nothing, then positive after missed period. Anyone else jump the gun? Best to wait till period is actually late, then confirm with gynac.
A home test usually shows accurate after ur missed period, around day one or two of delay. For real confirmation, the doctor does a blood test and an early scan. Don't trust super early tests, they can mislead.
From what i learnt, a urine test works best once ur period is missed, and a blood test can pick it up a bit earlier. I waited for the missed period to avoid false hope. Then the gynac confirms with scan.
Earliest reliable check is a home test on the day of missed period with morning urine. Blood beta hCG can detect slightly sooner. The full confirmation with heartbeat comes at the early ultrasound a few weeks later.
