Test came positive and im so excited but my gynac said its too early for scan. How many weeks before the usg can actually show something? just want to see that its all fine.
My doctor said the sac usually shows on scan around 5 to 6 weeks and the heartbeat by 6 to 7 weeks. So if u test positive very early, the scan might still look empty for a bit. She told me not to panic and just repeat it after a week.
Mine showed nothing at first scan and I was so scared. The doctor asked me to come back after 10 days and then we saw the heartbeat. Did anyone else have an empty early scan too?
Dont rush for a scan the moment u test positive. Around 6 to 7 weeks is when it actually shows something useful. Going too early just stresses u out for nothing.
