We are trying since 2 months and im so impatient this time, want to test asap. How many days after the missed period should i actually wait so the result is reliable? Dont want a false negative and get my hopes down.
I was so impatient i tested 3 days before period and it was negative, then positive after missed date. Did this happen to anyone else? the early ones really stressed me unnecessarily.
No rush dear, give it till at least the day your period was due. Test early morning. And if line is faint, repeat after 2-3 days, dont judge from one test.
Best time is after your missed period, first morning urine gives clearest result. If u test too early u may get false negative. I always waited 1-2 days after missed date.
Doc told me hcg takes time to build up, so testing on the day of missed period or after is most reliable. Morning urine because hcg is concentrated then. Some sensitive kits claim earlier but missed date is safest.
