My period is a few days late and im trying not to get my hopes up. Bought a home test from the chemist but not sure if its too early to use it. how many days should i wait for it to show correctly?
I was too impatient and tested early, got a confusing faint line and almost cried. Retested after a couple days and it was clearly positive. Anyone else been there too?
I tracked my expected period date on an app and tested the morning after I missed it. First morning urine is the most concentrated so most accurate. Patience really pays here, early testing only confused me.
Wait till you actually miss your period, then test with your first morning urine. Testing earlier gives faint or wrong results and just more tension. If your cycle is irregular, wait about 3 weeks after intercourse.
