When can you feel baby heartbeat during pregnancy?
Im 9 weeks and so curious about when ill actually hear the heartbeat. My gynac said next scan but i keep wondering na, at what week did u all hear it first? Bohot excited honestly.
After our long IVF journey, that 7-week viability scan was everything for us. Seeing that tiny flicker of a heartbeat made all the injections worth it. It is usually visible on the scan by the 7th week, sending u so much love and positive vibes.
Honestly, during my first scan at 7 weeks, my doc had to point at the screen and say 'look, that's the heartbeat'. I was so sleep deprived back then, I thought it was just a smudge on the monitor! It's such a relief when u finally see that tiny blinking light.
Actually, my gynac told me that the baby's heart starts beating around 5-6 weeks, but u can only see it on an ultrasound around the 7th or 8th week. Hearing it with a handheld Doppler at the clinic usually happens after 10-12 weeks. Don't worry, your doctor will let u know during your regular scans.
I am currently 9 weeks pregnant and we just heard the heartbeat on our first scan last week, it was amazing! But I wanted to ask, can we hear it at home too with those pocket Doppler machines? Or is it better to just wait for the doc appointments?
Mere saath toh double dhamaka tha, around 8 weeks scan pe we heard two heartbeats! Literally sounded like a train running inside, so fast and loud. Usually, u can't feel it yourself but the gynac will show u on the scan screen very early on.
