My gynac mentioned i might need a colour doppler later but didnt tell me the exact time. Now im just trying to understand around which week or month this scan is usually done. anyone had it, when did u get yours?
I had it done a bit earlier because my baby's growth was being watched closely. So it isnt fixed, the doctor decides based on need. If your gynac orders it, dont worry, its just a careful check.
My doctor ordered the colour doppler in the third trimester, around 30-34 weeks, to check blood flow to the baby. She said its done when they want to monitor growth or flow. Timing really depends on your case.
Usually in the later weeks, but the exact timing is your doctor's call depending on what they want to assess. Mine was around 32 weeks. Best to follow the date your gynac gives you.
