So my last period dates are a little confusing for me and my cycle is never regular. Doc gave me a due date but I keep wondering kab actually conception hua. Anyone know how to roughly figure this out?
Oh I totally get this, I spent hours trying to calculate the exact hour we conceived and got so anxious! Just remember that baby is safe and growing well, the doctor will give you the exact due date in the scan anyway.
Don't waste money on those expensive early conception tracking tests now. When you go for your first dating scan at the hospital, the doctor will write down the exact weeks and EDD anyway. Save that money for the upcoming scans and blood tests instead.
Usually, conception happens around 10 to 14 days after your last period date, depending on your cycle. You can use any online pregnancy calculator to get a rough idea, but don't spend too much time stressing over exact dates.
Best way is to check your last period date (LMP) and count from there. Gynacs also calculate the weeks based on that only, so don't worry about finding the exact day.
From what I remember, your body usually conceives around your ovulation window. But honestly, once the baby is here and in your arms feeding, none of these dates will even matter to you. Enjoy this phase, dear.
