My due date came out from the scan but im trying to figure out backwards when i actually conceived. The dates are a bit confusing in my head. How do u calculate it from the due date?
I tried to back calculate this too and got confused haha. My gynac just said the scan date is the reliable one. Did the calculators match your scan for anyone?
Due dates are counted from your last period, not the actual conception day. So it gives an approximate range, not an exact date. Your dating scan is honestly more accurate, ask your doctor what it showed.
Roughly conception is about 2 weeks after your last period start, and due date is 40 weeks from that period. So conception is usually around 38 weeks before your due date. The apps calculate it but its always an estimate.
You can rough it out, around 38 weeks before the due date, but conception date is hard to pin exactly. Your early ultrasound is the best source, so go by what your doctor noted there.
