Trying to figure out my actual conception date and someone mentioned there are UK based calculators online. My cycle was a bit irregular so dates are all over the place. Anyone used one that worked properly?
Oh my god, I used to obsess over these calculators! Honestly, they give you an estimate but your dating scan by the doctor is the most accurate for your Expected Due Date (EDD). Don't overthink it like I did, just use it for a rough idea and fun, but trust the doc's scan.
Hey! If you're looking for a good conception calculator, many popular pregnancy apps like Ovia or BabyCenter have them built-in. You just put your LMP and it gives you a good estimate for conception and EDD. Very handy, I used them all the time!
See, these online calculators are just estimates. For a rough idea, they are okay. Your body will tell you, ya know, when you missed your period! But for medical purposes, your doctor will calculate based on your LMP or early scan. Don't rely too much on apps, but for fun you can try.
I've seen so many of these online! They sound so helpful for planning a family. I guess they just ask for your last period date, right, to give you an estimate? I'm still learning about all this.
Conceive calculator? Ha! Mine would've probably crashed trying to figure out two! Just kidding. They're good for a rough idea but the dating scan by your gynac is the real boss for your EDD. Take it with a pinch of salt.
