My doc gave me a due date based on my last period and im just curious to work out roughly when i actually conceived. We were trying for a few months so i want to match it with the days. Anyone know how to count back from the due date?
My gynac explained the due date is usually counted as 40 weeks from the first day of your last period, and conception is roughly 2 weeks after that. So if you count back about 38 weeks from your due date you get the approximate conception time. The dating scan gives the most accurate estimate though.
I used a pregnancy app and just entered my due date, and it estimated my conception window for me. Super handy honestly. But the early ultrasound dating was what my doctor went by finally.
