My doctor gave me a due date but im trying to figure out the actual conception time, my cycles were a bit off that month. Just curious how it all gets calculated. Anyone understood how this works?
Doctors usually count from the first day of your last period, and conception is roughly around 2 weeks after that during ovulation. My gynac figured it out exactly using the dating scan. That scan gives the most accurate timing.
If you track your cycle, conception is around your ovulation day, usually mid cycle. The app estimated mine and the scan later matched closely. An early ultrasound will give you the proper date.
