When do i take a pregnancy test?

My period is 3 days late and im so impatient to just test already. But i dont want to do it too early and get a wrong result. When is the right time to actually check pls?

I was so impatient and tested like 5 days before my date, came negative and I cried. Then tested after missed period and it was positive. Did anyone else also test too early in panic? Better to just wait na.

Best is to wait till your period is at least a day or two late, then test with first morning urine. Testing too early just gives faint or false results and more tension. I learnt that the hard way both times.
