Getting these mild cramps on and off since few weeks and its making me uneasy. Im 9 weeks now. Just want to know till when these cramps usually continue, anyone?
Beta, shuruat me thodi thodi aisi khichan lagti hi hai kyuki baby badh raha hota hai. Par agar dard jyada ho ya bleeding jaisa lage, to bina deri kiye doctor didi ko dikhana chahiye.
Agree with others, mild stretching is normal. Just make sure to stay well hydrated to ease the muscle spasms, and definitely call your doc if the pain is severe.
Your uterus is just doing a little construction work inside to make space for the baby! They usually settle down by the second trimester, but if they feel very sharp, please call your gynac. Just make sure you aren't running around too much, and get some rest.
Having had a miscarriage before, I know how terrifying any cramp can feel. Mild cramps can be normal as the body expands, but please, if they feel sharp or are accompanied by any spotting, call your doctor immediately for peace of mind.
Mine only stopped when the baby came out, and then postpartum cramps started, haha! Seriously though, mild stretching cramps are common in the first trimester as your uterus grows, but if they are severe or painful, do consult your doctor immediately.
Oh, don't ask! In the third trimester, they just turn into Braxton Hicks and backaches. If you are in your early weeks, they should settle down soon, but if they get heavy, please tell your doctor. Just hang in there!
I had mild cramping off and on during my first trimester, but it slowly faded by week 12. Drinking lots of water and resting really helped me. But yes, if they get sharp or don't go away with rest, just check with your gynac once.
