First time trying to conceive and im a little clueless about the timing of these kits. After how many days do they actually start showing a correct result? dont want to test too soon and get upset for nothing.
Got a negative when I tested 3 days early, then a clear positive on the due date. So yeah they really do need that hormone to build up. Patience is hard though na.
Give your body the time it needs, dear. The hormone takes around two weeks after conception to show clearly, which is roughly when your period is due. Test then and youll get a real answer.
They work best from the day your period is due or after. Test too early and you waste kits on faint lines and confusion. Just hold on a few days, use morning urine, done.
My doctor said the urine test reads the hCG hormone, which is only high enough around the time of your missed period. Testing before that gives unreliable results. A blood test at a lab can catch it a bit earlier if you really cant wait.
