Im almost 4 months along and my belly is starting to show now. I keep checking my tummy daily wondering when the stretch marks usually start showing up so i can begin caring for my skin in time. When did urs appear?
Usually they show up later, around the third trimester when skin stretches the most. I oiled regularly from second trimester which kept itching down. Genetics decide a lot too honestly.
Mine started showing in the last trimester when the bump grew fast. I felt a bit sad about them at first. But honestly now they remind me of carrying my baby and I made peace with it.
They appeared on my belly and thighs in the final months. I totally understand if they bother you. But they fade over time and they are nothing to be ashamed of, our bodies did something amazing.
