Im in my 4th month and my pet is just starting to show now. Trying to figure out when stretch marks usually start so i can begin oiling before na. Did urs come early or only in last trimester?
I am in my 5th month now and starting to see faint lines on my lower belly, so I think they start around this time. Did yours start showing up on your thighs too, or is it just the stomach? I'm trying to moisturize daily but let's see how it goes!
I literally cried when I saw the first purple lines on my belly in the late second trimester, I panicked so much. But then I realized almost every pregnant woman gets them and they fade to light silver lines after delivery. It's completely normal and nothing to stress about!
Currently in my 35th week and my belly looks like a zebra crossing, let's be honest! They really popped out in the 8th month when the baby had a major growth spurt. No amount of expensive creams saved me, so now I just laugh and call them my tiger stripes!
I am hoping to conceive soon and honestly, I sometimes wonder about all these body changes like stretch marks. It is a bit scary but I guess it's a beautiful sign of motherhood. I hope to experience this journey gently when the time comes.
I'm in my 20th week and my stomach has started itching so much, I'm terrified of getting deep stretch marks! Is anyone else in their second trimester feeling this same itching? What creams are u guys using to prevent them?
Beta, stretch marks usually start appearing around the 6th or 7th month when the belly expands quickly. Don't worry, it is very natural. You can lightly apply warm coconut oil or mustard oil after your bath to keep the skin soft and reduce the itching.
For me, the stretch marks started showing in the late 6th month when my bump grew. I used to apply fresh aloe vera gel and olive oil, which helped a lot with the dry skin and itching. Just make sure that if the itching is extremely severe all over your body, you ask your gynac as it could be a liver issue.
