We just started trying and im trying to understand the right time in the cycle to actually conceive. Honestly nobody explained this to me properly while growing up. Pls share how it works in simple words.
I used an ovulation tracker app and it pointed out my fertile window so well. Basically the days around mid cycle are when conception can happen. The apps even predict it for you, made our trying journey so much easier.
For most it's mid cycle around ovulation. But with PCOS like me, ovulation can be irregular and harder to predict, so the usual mid cycle rule didnt apply to me. If your cycles are off, do see a gynac, they can guide the timing properly.
Conception happens around ovulation, which is roughly the middle of your cycle, about 14 days before your next period. My doctor said the few days around ovulation are the most fertile. Tracking your cycle helps a lot if you're trying.
Around ovulation, usually mid cycle if your periods are regular. The fertile days are roughly day 10 to 16 for a 28 day cycle. If your cycle is irregular it's harder to time, then a gynac can help you figure the right days.
We're trying too and I had the same question. I learnt it's around the ovulation days in the middle of the cycle. Tracking my dates helped me understand my body better. Wishing you the best on your journey.
