We are ttc and im trying to understand the timing properly. Does it happen the same day or can it take few days after? honestly im confused about the whole process, pls explain in simple words.
My tracker really helped me understand this, the fertile window is the key. Conception happens around ovulation, not necessarily the same day. After that you still wait over a week before a test shows anything.
This is so helpful, I always thought it happened right away. So the ovulation timing is what really matters then? We will start tracking that properly now.
My doctor explained that sperm can survive a few days, so conception happens whenever the egg is released and met, usually around ovulation. Then implantation takes several more days. So it isnt instant after sex, the timing depends on your cycle.
